Hip Doggie Super Star Harness Vest For Dogs
With a Measure of Caution
Who doesn't love these mesh harnesses for their 4-legged kids? These Hip Doggie Super Star "Vests" might be more appropriately called a "Thong" for those of us in the know. Like most pugs, mine is clearly not petite, but in every other brand harness a size Large has always been ample; not in this case - it barely squeezes over her head and the chest band is nearly extended to the max. The quality of the materials is also less than expected, but on sale, the price was right. Purchase with a measure of caution!

The same but different
So I just received my harnesses. Ordered one in blue and one I pink, both in size medium. They came in different types of packages which I thought was strange because they are the same product and I put them on my two dogs. The pink one fit my girl great but the blue one for my boy was a bit tight on his neck. Strange because their necks are the same size. When I took them off the pink one slid right off but the blue one was tougher to get off. I put the harnesses on top of each other and the blue one is like a whole size smaller. Checked the tags and they are both a medium then I noticed the pink one said Dog Star on a black rubber rectangle on the bottom while the blue said Hip Doggie like the ones shown in the picture. Both of my dogs necks measure 11.5" but the pink one fits so much better. Not sure what the deal is but they really should state it in the description. Maybe the pink one I received is a newer version but they should've kept the sizes the same. Now I have to return the blue one since it is a little tight and I don't think they sell these in the store. Bummer

My little 15 pound Lhasa Apso looks absolutely beautiful in her new harness; fit is true to size, lightweight and well-made. Don't hesitate to purchase one for your special pet- they will love the fit and comfort!
