Oster Performance Complete Clipper Kit
Great for a few haircuts, but broke quickly
I have two mixed breeds that are predominantly border collie and I shave their hair down during the summer. Where I live it cost $120 each time to get them both shaved so I figured this would be a major money saver. We were able to trim them down completely once and do one touch up a month later, but the clippers fell apart after that and there is no easy way to disassemble to do repairs at home. For $70, these clippers did a great job while they worked, and I likely would have spent over $200 to have a groomer do the same things. However, for them breaking after one summer I would not buy these again.

Not worth the coin
I bought this to groom my shih tzu. My shih tzu had long hair so I used the scissors it came with to cut 95 percent of the hair that I was removing since the clipper was not able cut through long hair at all.
Since this is my first clipper I am unsure if it is just the poor quality blade, motor etc.. Or just the hair on the dog... Perhaps I need to spend the extra 200 $ and get a good clipper .i would say it might be good for dogs with short hair below half inch with no matting or knots etc..the other above review seems to be misleading.

I purchased these clippers against the advice of the groomers-they tried to sell me the more expensive ones-but I am frugal and bought these instead. These clippers worked great-I clipped both of my shih-tzus (who were very matted) in an hour.
They do get a little hot after a while-but I have to give my dogs a break during clipping so that lets the clippers cool down
