Warm put pricey
I have about 6 of these because Sphynx cats need the warm and it's my body or (cross my fingers) another source of warmth and off to bed we go. I have 8 grown cats and 3 babies on my bed with me. (Yes ma'am, I've never really been considered too bright. We try and avoid the word CRAZY around me because sometimes it makes me cry). I can get 2 10 lb cats in each one (remember no hair or wiskers to get in anyone's way). I take lengths of yarn and make french embroidery knots on each side and the top before I through them in the washer and dryer (the beds not the cats, the cats have to be washed every 3 days, but you can't put them in the washer or dryer--sorry, I digress. Anywaay that keeps the foam from getting all tangled up and they you have to try and get it straight slowly when it is all cleaned. They do tend to come apart at the seams (don't we all), but can be whipped right back. When these fall apart, I'm going to use them as patterns because I want the opening a little farther up from the ground. All my kittens are born in them, on my bed, and they can start getting out in about 2 weeks because of the openinggs being so low. So, I guess I use they a lot. Wish they only cost 1/2 the price. That would be a real BARGAIN.

This is a well made product but should be more correctly called a Kitten Cabin. I have a petite Siamese and she just can not fit comfortably in this bed.
