KONG® Durable Pet Crate Pad
Maybe Kong should remove the term "durable" in the description unless they are trying to sell this as a cat bed. Less than an hour and $50+ later this bed is rendered useless. Disappointing to say the least....

Not worth the Kong name
My 7 month doodle destroyed this in 30 minutes.

I bought 2 sizes
I saw these on Petsmart website and reviewed the discription of these Kong crate pads and wasn't sure of the material they are made of so I went to the store and inspected them. I bought 2 different ones for I have big dog crates. My dogs tend to rip up blankets, and pillows so I tried one in my female's crate and it is been since April 2014 as I write this and she has not ripped nor put a hole it it. For the other pad, I ended up putting it in the extended cab of pickup truck for I think my male dog who loves to rip stuff up will or might do so on this new pad and can't phathom to lose a near 60.00 pad being shredded up. They have ripped up other bankets and those sheep type pillow pads and so far so good for these Kong pads. I am reviewing again these pads for my youngest one will need one in his crate. He too likes to rip clothes/bedding, and hoping he won't this when I get another one. These are very comfortable for the dogs, and they love laying on them. The material seems to be solid and made very well. I would recommend them, but keep watch for a few days if your dog likes ripping stuff up.

The first day my 10 month old rottie loved the bed. Went and layed on it all the time. I bought a Kong because of the toughness of the brand. Well guess what? On the second day it was torn to shreds from the bottom and the top!! Padding everywhere! Now she is in her crate with now bed and just some blankets for comfort. Wasted $50......
