I have a 1 year old Rough Collie whose tummy can be a bit sensitive so I try to stick to grain-free, limited ingredient treats with minimum processing. These sweet potato treats are just perfect in that sense! I love looking on the back and seeing only one thing listed under ingredients: sweet potato.
Now a little common sense is needed when evaluating this next part (the longevity claim). Taking off stars because your 40+ lb dog goes through a treat the size of a French fry in 30 seconds is hardly fair. As it is my 70 lb pup has the jaw strength to break these treats into pieces and he does chew them. Unless you own a small dog (20 lbs or less?) odds are your dog will down them quickly. This isn't the treat failing in its claim of being long lasting if your dog could make noticeable progress on a chair leg if it felt so inclined.
The treats taste fantastic by the way. Seeing as they were only dried sweet potatoes I decided to try a piece for myself--yea, they taste very good. Personally I'd say any treat that tastes decent to me must be equally as good to my dog.
My only real wish is that the treat were a bit more compatible with stuff able toys. Their stick-USB appearance does not really lend itself to stuffing. Other then that though we couldn't be happier

Rated 5 out of 5 by dotH Love this product and so does our dog. She enjoys the taste and the chewiness of these treats. No messy crumbs either. I have recommended these treats to others including family members with dogs.

The ingredients are wholesome and natural but the treats are hard as a rock. It may be because of the sweet potato. Potatoes in general consists of lots of water so in this case the dehydrated form make it too hard for my dog to chew. He is a senior dog with week teeth and he's small so he does not want to bother with it. I've attempted to soften it for him and he tried a couple of times to eat it, but I'll probably give away what's left and carefully consider buying treats online again unless I am familiar with them. Otherwise they are a good alternative to the processed dog treats.

I bought these treats because they were under the heading for long last treats. I have a 9 month old lab puppy and he finished this in about 30 seconds. Definitely not what I was looking for! I can appreciate that natural ingredients though.
