Don't waste your money
My first sign that is was not any good should have been when two halves were able to be removed from each other so easily. I have a 75 gallon and the glass if fairly thick. I purchased the largest model that PetSmart had at the time. They were out of the kind I normally buy, so this one looked pretty good. It had a nice grip. larger surface area and it was even a buck or two less. Mistake...
The cleaner will barely stick together through the glass. You have to go very slow if you want it to clean even the simplest of spots. When you pull the outside piece away from the glass to release it, the in tank piece sinks. So now your hand is diving in the aquarium to retrieve it. It you bring it up to the top of the water before you release it, the curved shape makes it very difficult to grasp and it is probably going to the bottom anyway. The scrubber side is very difficult to clean after use. It holds all kinds of little gravel particulate that it picked up whilst it was resting on the bottom waiting retrieval. It takes three or four attempts to get it all cleaned out. Everytime I think it is clean, I stick it back in the aquarium and I hear another particle scraping on the glass.
I'm done. This one is going in the trash and I am going back to the old trusty kind.

this thing is a joke
This product is a joke. You have to move it very very slowly for the pieces to stay together and it doesn't even remove algae!!!!!! Waste of money!
