All Living Things® Safety Pumice Bird Perch
I have a few of these for my macaw's nails, the one who is especially hard to towel in order to file his nails and he also loves to sharpen his own nails right after we file them! This keeps his nails less sharp in between filings. The perch also has a smooth area so that his feet are not on the rough sandpaper part, which can lead to bumble foot. Most sandpaper perches are rough all the way around, which is unsafe for your bird's feet. This one is perfect, and also different thicknesses, so it works really well. I have 4 of them! I just wish it would have metal washers and wing nuts instead of the plastic knob to attach it to the cage, since my other two macaws destroy any plastic perch attachments like this.

Cockatiel LOVES it, but I see no improvement!
I purchased this my cockatiel, Charlie, so he could trim his claws and beak since both are getting rather pointy.
I looked at many perches like this one and couldn't believe how expensive they were! While buying some more food for him, I noticed this and decided to give it a try! Once I put it in, Charlie was intimidated. However, after just a few minutes he got on it and started walking from one side to the other. It took a few days for him to use it to trim, but when he did he really enjoyed it! He mostly uses it for his beak since his feet kind of overlap the depth of the perch. He LOVES rubbing his beak on it, but I really haven't seen any improvement. The little "sandy particles" are falling off after little ware. But, who knows, maybe it just needs to be used a little more! I really like how it is a funky shape and can provide a variety of textures for my tiel's feet. It is also great that the top is smooth to not irritate his feet! Overall, the product is good and worth the price, but I wish I could see more improvement!

I had this in my cockatiel's cage for a while and he seemed to like it. The perch has uneven widths which is good for keeping birdie feet flexed. The smooth top also protects from irritation. You will still have to trim your birdie's nails, but regular use of this helps keep them down a bit.

i usually do not like these types of perches. But when I saw the brand on an online website, I thought these could really be great. They offer both a rough and smooth surface. If it was all rough, it could actually hurt their feet, and if it was all smooth it would be too slippery. It offers the best of both worlds.
My guys (budgies and cockatiel) love perching on and nibbling on their Sweet Feet and Beak(r) Safety Pumice Perches (we have 3 of the perches in the bird room).
It also comes in a range of different colors, which brightens up the cages and area.
