Super Pet® Comfort Small Animal Wheel
Great wheel for all hamsters! :)
The 8.5 inch comfort wheel is the perfect size for a Syrian hamster. They can run on it comfortably. I like the colors the wheel comes in. Now this wheel is not silent and it makes noise but as long as my hammy is happy i don't mind. :) My dwarf hamsters also enjoy the 8.5 inch wheel even if it is a little big. Both my Winter Whites run on it at the same time even though they have two wheels. The other one being a silent spinner. I suppose they just like the 8.5 inch comfort wheel better than their 6.5 inch silent spinner. xD

Great for Syrians. I just got this wheel a couple of days, and it is excellent so far. I got the silent wheel before this one, but it was too small for my Syrian, so I got this one, and he loves it. The noise is not bad, and it does not bother me. If he is happy, i am happy.
I hope this helps.

This wheel is okay. It's a tad bit noisy, but not too bad. You can't really anchor it to the cage, so it gets knocked over pretty easily. I got it for my two female rats when they were babies. The 8.5" is labeled for rats and seems like a good intermediate size, but mine outgrew it pretty quickly. I eventually upgraded them to a 12" Silent Spinner, which I like better.

Makes noise, but hamster is happy.
This wheel is just the right size for my large Syrian hamster. I prefer Silent Spinner wheels, but the 6.5" Silent Spinner is too small for her, and the 12" Silent Spinner is too big and heavy. I knew this would not be a silent wheel when I bought it. However, the noise is not all that bad to me. Plus, it's solid plastic, so I don't have to worry about her feet getting stuck. I currently house my hamster in a bin cage, and I was able to cut a slit into the plastic and push the cage attachment part through the slit to secure the wheel to the wall of the bin (I also left it on its stand for additional support). Until an 8" Silent Spinner becomes available, this is just about your best bet for a Syrian hamster wheel from Petsmart.
