NUTRO® NATURAL CHOICE® Soft Loaf Senior Cat Food
Good and Bad
This is a good product if you have a diabetic cat, but if your cat also has UTI and crystal formation issues, then you need to be careful because the ASH content is 3.5 That's too high for my cat

Best food for diabetic cat
My older cat got diagnosed as diabetic. I switched him to prescription canned food recommended by my vet, but it still had grains or other carbs (potatoes, peas) which cats do not need, especially if diabetic. I found this food which has no grains or other useless carbs. Even the one who wouldn't touch the wet food switched over on her own after I bought this food. And both have super shiny soft coats now too!

This is about the only canned food my cat will eat, and she will only eat pate/soft loaf, which can be hard to find. I prefer these smaller cans because I feed only one small can a day (1/2 in the morning and 1/2 at night) plus some dry. Perfect size for us!

I don't mind the smaller size cans... it's easier to open. My cats love the Nutro food.
