I have a nine year old, 95lb black lab and he absolutely LOVES this bed. It was perfect for the first couple of months, but after that, it was downhill from there. Do not dry the cover as stated, even on low. I washed the cover and it immediately shrank to where it would never fit back over the entire bed and be zipped. I had to go out and buy a twin sized fitted sheet to go over the foam and throw the original cover away. Also the foam does not hold up very well. I have flipped, rotated and had him off the bed to try and make it 'fluff' back up and it lays so flat in spots. He still loves the bed and will lay on it, but with how much this bed costs #$90#, it's VERY poor in quality. I would buy another one if it were $30.

by Frenchi I bought this bed for my senior dog, who is arthritic, knowing this type of bed would be beneficial for her. For the first few months she loved it, and it seemed to help a lot. But after 4 months the foam in the middle started to sag and break down, and the comfort level has depleted. Now she sleeps on the edges of the bed where the foam hasn't broke down. So, I am looking for a new Orthopedic bed for her after just 5 and half months. Too bad.

I bought this bed in December for my 80 lb Labradoodle. This is the third bed I've purchased. She has arthritis in her hips and this is the first bed that she loves. She can get up without problems and she is very comfortable on it. It has held up without any issues. I have washed the cover 5 times, cold water, gentle cycle and it comes out beautiful. I plan to buy another for the bedroom for her so I don't have to pick it up and move it every night and morning.
