Top Paw Orthopedic Pet Bed
Big and comfortable, but it saggs in the middle
After reading the reviews and going to the store to look at the bed, I thought the bed would be ok for my 7 year old 65lb blue nose pit bull. He has arthritis in one hip and I need something thick and cushiony. Unfortunately, the bed sagged right in the middle after one night. My dog loves it, but it is not worth the price although I got it on sale. I do not recommend this bed. I will be returning the bed.

one would think the zipper would be heavier given that the cover needs to be cleaned fairly regularly... disappointed

I purchased the extra large bed about 3 months ago, and almost immediately the fleece top cover began to come apart. My dog is not a chewer but does like to move the bed around. Unfortunately the top is so fragile that it took almost no time to put holes in it. Now there is a gaping hole in it, making the bed unusable. I would not recommend this product to others. The manufacturer should instruct owners to turn the bed over immediately, THe bottom appears far more durable than the top.

Might be good for lighter dogs as-is.
We got these beds awhile ago for our two dogs. The dogs loved them, but they quickly sort of deflated around the center. However, with the addition of more foam (which we purchased separately), these beds are good as new!
If you purchase some extra foam and stick it in, these beds should last you a long, long time. We've had ours for nearly two years now (I believe), a Christmas gift to our two pooches, and they have held up wonderfully. It's the foam that's flimsy, not the actual bed cover, and foam is easy enough to replace. The soft fleece that the two dogs love, however, is not :)
