Rated 4 out of 5 by Pickapeppa Works great for us!
Installed in a Lexus RX350 (SUV) with back seats folded down. We have two Border Collies, 35 lbs. and 50 lbs. and the bridge supports them well so far (used a few times). After initial fit, install/remove is 2 minutes for 2 people, 4-5 mins for 1 person, and easy to figure out. Flap in the middle covers our console, which is great (might not for all cars). It's really 5 stars for us, but I agree it may be a little flimsy for larger dogs so I gave it 4 stars. You could possibly buy two and stack them to handle more weight. Previously we had a lot of trouble with our dogs "falling in the crack" and this product solves that problem perfectly. I recommend it!

The Backseat Bridge can break under too much weight, but we use a hammock style seat cover over the top of the Bridge which solves that issue completely. The seat cover supports the dog's weight if it is heavy. Besides, I don't want my seat exposed or my Bridge torn up with regular wear and tear, so the seat cover is the final piece to a perfect solution.
Before I put the seat cover on, I rolled up old towels to put in the very back of the seat, so it makes the area flat and easy for the dogs to maneuver on.
I have one in my BMW, it's been 2 years now and still in new condition. Also, just put one in my F150 FX4. I was worried it wouldn't fit my truck; maybe too small. Especially since I am only 5' tall, I put the seat all the way forward. But it is perfect! It is a couple of inches shy on each side across the width. But the seat and the seat cover makes up the difference.
If you are thinking of making your backseat work for your dogs, this is really a great solution.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Mary1 great idea
We travel with our two smaller dogs a lot and confine them to the back so this gives them a very nice space to hang out and room for both of their beds. The only reason I didn't give it five stars is because the straps were not long enough to work in our truck and we needed to add on to the straps. Otherwise, we really think it works great!

I think the concept of this product is a good one…..and it may be very effective for smaller dogs. My dog weighs about 70 lbs and even though the "bridge" is working pretty well, it has already broken in one spot where she had all of her weight at one time and the flap that is supposed to keep the dog from getting into the front seat is sagging and not effectively convincing her to stay in back……
I will use this product until it completely breaks and try to find something similar, but stronger.
