My dog loves them BUT keep a rag handy. They get nasty with doggy slobber. I have to grab them with some paper towels and wipe them often. For some reason they really make my dog drool.
I do take them away from her when we are not playing a game of fetch because I think she may be able to chew some chunks out of them if I gave her time.

Our Border Collie Lab mix puppy "Dragon" just recently became really interested in fetch, and I was looking for other Chuckit! products to add to the 25 sport launcher I got him. This ball set is fantastic, and gives me a great range of things to try with him. I keep the recycled ball in my coat pocket because it works great for getting his attention when he is really distracted. The whistling ball is probably his favorite. Like the other reviewer mentioned, the whistle isn't actually that loud, but dogs hearing is better than ours and the pitch might be higher than we can actually hear. Dragon clearly has no problem hearing it. Haven't used the glow in the dark ball yet because I want to see his ball-finding abilities improve and the amount of puddles outside lessen before trying fetch in the dark.
I definitely prefer these rubbery balls to plain old tennis balls because they are easier to keep clean and absorb less slobber. I will most definitely repurchase the whistling ball in the future, and probably the recycled one as well. I will also buy them for my parent's dog.
Great products overall, I can't wait to see what Chuckit! comes up with in the future!

I have a pretty large husky mix who destroys things pretty quickly, but he hasn't damaged any of these balls. The glow in the dark ball works pretty well - it's not super bright, but it's enough to see and Scottie never had any problem locating it. The whistle is pretty low - we first used it on a windy day and I didn't hear it, but the next day I could. It's not loud by any means, but even on the windy day Scottie never lost track of it. The recycled ball is good, too. I like all of them better than the tennis ball.
