Grreat Choice® Training Head Collar
Great result first time!
We have a very energetic border collie that we adopted 8 months ago. Walking him has always been a challenge. He would pull so hard that it would hurt our backs, zig zag while walking, bark. We had to walk him after dark just to have a semi-peacful walk. I bought this collar yesterday and it worked wonderfully on the first time I used it. He did fight it a little at first, but after the 2nd time around the subdivision he had gotten used to it and the walk was so peacful. I was actually able to use one finger to hold the leash versus have the leash wrapped several times around my hand just to control him. He still was out ahead of me but he was not yanking my arm out of socket. We did have some other dogs barking from behind fences at us and he did bark a little but nothing like before. We noticed a HUGE improvement.

I purchased this product with high hopes of controlling our puppy's pulling while on her leash. It worked...for about a week. Then the snap, which tightens the part around the muzzle and discourages the pulling, completely broke. Now, the nose strap either falls off of her, or the clasp on the leash gets twisted around and is right in her eye. I should have known by the price that this is a poorly made product. If I could do it over again, I would skip this head collar completely and go straight for a higher quality (albeit more expensive) one.

Doesn't stay on
My vet put this on my dog. He said he wasn't sure is was going to work. He said compared to others, it looked cheap. Well he was right. A few swipes from her paw, and it was off.

Works for rambunctious Cattle Dog
I have an energetic 2-year-old cattle dog I am training. I had first tried a more popular brand (G.L.) but it rubbed some of the hair off of the top of her muzzle just below her eyes. I like the "Control Ease collar" by Halti because it has soft material lining the muzzle so the dog is more comfortable. This collar helps to teach her to not pull on the leash. At first she didn't want to wear it, but I worked with her by the reward system, and pretty soon, she was doing fine. I had to be sure to bring treats with me and praise her a lot while teaching her to wear it. After a few weeks of using the Halti, I tried a regular collar, and she had improved considerably so that she wouldn't pull me down the sidewalk anymore. I would definitely recommend this brand of collar for training.
