Top Fin Peacock Fern
Why all the bad reviews? Beautiful plant!
Its flouishing in my tank. After just 3 days it looks as if it is perking up a lot from the way it was kept in the store. It has also sprouted what looks like multiple root systems in those 3 days, that come from the leaves. People keep saying that the plant isn't for aquariums but i have had others in my aquariums that have made it just great. I might check the roots and leaves better next time I buy a plant because it was rotting a bit where the leaves were touching the bottle sides.

I bought one of the short stage of these. It has been in my aquarium for more than 6 months now. It is flourishing. It has built a very complex and dense root system. It stands about 18" from the top of the substrate. It has runners creating more plants coming from the bottom. This plant has been completely submerged since I brought it home and placed it in my aquarium. Out of the 4 plants I bought, all at the same time and same stage in the same aquarium, this one has done the best. As for it being snail free, it is.

Not for aquariums
Why do they sell these? It is marked semi-aquatic but even though, it still won't grow even in a terrarium. The roots will rot if it sits in water. This is a house plant and you all know how that goes.

This plant is not a aquatic plant. It is a tropical plant. Do not buy this for your aquarium.
