by Rolk Extremely pleased.
After dealing with the standard kid/pet gates (wooden with notched incremental adjustments) and having them continuously knocked over, tripped over and having to readjust them, I am extremely pleased with the very attractive gate that is easy to use, very sturdy, and not too "bad" to install.
I agree with other reviewers that the instructions could have been better, but once I saw the various pictures showing the parts needed for different widths, it really was easy to get installed, although it would have been easier if I had a helper to hold it in place while I aligned it and made the final adjustments.
I love it so much, I just ordered a second one!

Rated 5 out of 5 by RuniGate Excellent quality and attractive appearance
Initial objective to provide barrier for new puppy between family room and rest of house.
Mechanical and construction quality exceed expectations and appearance of the wooden gate match the look of a recent $50K kitchen remodel, so what's not to like?

This gate works better than the 3 other pet gates I installed and eventually threw out. The posts are close enough that the cat and smaller dog do not try to go through the gate. However, the cat can easily jump it. It securely contains my two dogs, is easy to operate, and is attractive at the same time. It was easy to install and I cannot say enough good things about it.

We bought two of these gates to create a space for the puppy. They have been in place two weeks. I really like the gates. They are sturdy. They are easy to open. And they look pretty good. We had to use the extender pieces on one of the doorways. All that took about an hour to install. I recommend these gates
