Rated 5 out of 5 by Gutsigal Great filter for the money
This filter performs just as well as its more expensive counterparts. It is quiet and provides biological filtration. The filters are easy to change and can be found in most places that sell aquarium supplies.

Initial assessment: As advertised and more, it's just what I needed. I have a 15 gallon tank and thought I was through with the initial cycle process, but due to an addition of another fish one more than recommended for my tank size, I had a nitrite explosion. Even with 20% water changes daily I could not keep up with it. Problem: Not enough bio-filtration. Solution: This little filter! It's quiet as can be, served my purposes perfectly, I needed more bio.
I don't have longevity experience will report back in a few months, but am more than happy with what I am seeing for now.

Tetra I3 which has ALWAYS had suction cups. This new one won't work with my tank now. The clip makes it sit diagonally. Wasted money!

The rate of flow is too high for it's own filters. After 2 days the water just runs up and over the filter media. Since the rate of flow is not adjustable, you have no real filtration happening. Even a brand new filter only lasts a day or 2. Definitely should have been built with an adjustable intake.
