I tried everything and couldn't get rid of fleas on my cat. I figured it couldn't hurt. I gave him one before I went to work and when I came home he had one single DEAD flea on him. He has long hair and I searched and searched. I'm sure he is as happy as I am.

This product is amazing!! I had tried everything on my cat to eliminate the fleas, and nothing seemed to work. I then found this product and thought I'd give it a shot! I hid it in my cats food and he ate it super quick. He did experience some side effects such as hyperactivity and vomit but it was nothing too serious! About 30 mins after i gave him the pill, the fleas started falling out!!! I was soo happy, they fell out dead or dying. It's the next day and he hasn't sratched at all! Highly recommend this product, it does what it says!

I gave my two cats and Maltese a pill. It may have killed a few fleas but not much help. The next day I gave them a second pill. Same thing. I still found fleas on them. I don't recommend this product. It's cheaper than others but you get what you pay for. But in this case it wasted my money I could have put on better quality product.

Ten days ago we encountered fleas on our indoor dogs and cats. We are talking an infestation! Never have we had fleas before so this was horrible! We tried bathing with many different things like Adams flea shampoo, Dawn dishwashing liquid, Apple Cider Vinegar. We also tried Vets Best natural spray. It removed the fleas, but the next day there were as many as 100 fleas on one of my dogs. We kept bathing everyone, only to find massive amounts of adult fleas on them the next day. The fleas were jumping on our legs and biting us too!!
I read you must treat the carpet as well as the pets. This is where the eggs and fleas are hiding! We treated the carpet with Adams Carpet Spray. I recommend this highly. It kills all stages of fleas...eggs and all! Works up to seven months thereafter. Odor was faint. We sprayed it and the windows open then returned home after a couple hours. We put all pets in our garage so they couldn't get sick.
Anyway, the fleas were still on the pets...lots of them! Couldn't use flea sprays due to recent use of shampoo and toxicity issues.
I was desperate but needed something safe. Most of my pets are over 10 years old, a couple over 15 years in age. They were my biggest concern. I went to the vet with one of my dogs cause had the worst infestation and was getting lethargic. I was told Capstar was safe. She charged $7 for one pill. I needed six for my other pets, but she wouldn't sell them to me unless I brought everyone in for lab work. I needed help now and she was closing for the weekend.
I found this in the store. I reluctantly gave this product to both cats and dogs. About 30 minutes later, the fleas were falling off! I was thrilled!
One thing I did to make sure the effects of this were minimal and didn't cause an upset was...I fed everyone really well and made sure they were hydrated before I gave this product to them. This is key I think! Everyone fared well with no reaction and slept for the first time in two weeks! No scratching or biting themselves. Wonderful! You can dose them again the next day which is nice to know in case you need something again to kill fleas. One tablet works for about 24 hours.
