Canine Carry outs® Dog Snack
Dogs love 'em but unhealthy ingredients
I started out buying these since they were about the cheapest treats I could find. My dogs loved them. That's where the 2 stars come from. They are flat, chewy, highly aromatic, and can be broken into pieces. In the back of my mind, I wondered and hoped I wasn't feeding my dog anything harmful. Even the smell was like chemicals and preservatives. Now we have a new purebred puppy, and I am concerned about what she ingests. Knowing a little more about the ingredients in pet food, I'm not going to feed my pup ingredients that are not necessary or even bad for her. (the ingredients in question aren't good for humans either.) I question the following: why both corn syrup and sugar, artificial red food color, iron oxide for color, propylene glycol, titanium dioxide for color....and what exactly do they use in their "animal digest". You can do your own research on Google, but I don't want to feed my dog something I deem so unhealthy.

I use these as a training treat and break them up into smaller bits. The ingredients are not very good though.

Excellent training treat!
This treat smells strong and very attractive to dogs and is extremely tasty for all of my training clients, even the most particular dogs. Soft and easy to break into really small pieces if needed, non greasy on my hands, and is made in USA. Not a health food but not real scary junk ingredients either.
