I have a pleco that is the most particular eater ever. I have tried many different wafers and he is never impressed. My tank never has algae so I feared he would eventually starve, but he loves these things. I feed him one and if he eats the whole thing sometimes I throw down a second. Ive been using them for a couple weeks now and my water is fine. I never write reviews, but I am so excited to see him eating that I had to share. Hope this helps someone.

by GingaNinja Tadpoles love them!
I wanted to try these out for the several hundred tadpoles Mother Nature deposited in my 5-ft kiddy pool, to supplement their diet of boiled, chopped salad greens; when the polliwogs were still little bitty, they had limited interest in these tabs, but now that they're about ten days old and quadrupled in size, they're going nuts over them! I have a few babies in a small tank inside, too, and the tabs do cloud the water and smell swampy if you overfeed, so that's remedied by not giving them the whole tab at once.

over the week that i had this product i noticed that my oto catfish didnt like the wafers. only twice did i notice them eat it (but only for a few seconds before going back to the glass of the tank). Ive seen videos of them eating this stuff but to avoid losing out on a few bucks i suggest buying the smaller bottle instead but you can always return it for store credit or cash back. i exchanged it for a live plant which would help in making algae which my fish would eat :)

I was very dissapointed, the wafers made my Ph levels increase significantly! I tested to see if the wafers were causing the problem by testing a seperate container of water before and after the wafer was added and it had increased by 1 ph level within 4 hours. Not to mention my algae eater doesnt eat it.
