by AnimalL0v3r Not properly coated
I bought this dish because it looks nice and fit the décor of my gecko's terrarium, however, that is all it does. The material is textured and grows bacteria that cannot be removed without using products that you don't want to use on items that are for sensitive animals. If you run your finger over the surface of the dish, you can feel where the clear coat sealer is missing ... not just on one dish but every single one I have handled that this company seems to make. This sloppy, poor craftsmanship makes the dish a very expensive disposable water bowl. I have tired every cleaner that is intended for this type of dish but nothing works. The image I have included show my 3 month old dish after a thorough disinfecting cleaning. I strongly suggest, for the heath of your pet, that you look elsewhere for a bowl that does not breed bacteria in every crevasse. Someone must make a dish that is properly coated?!?! I am still searching.

Rated 4 out of 5 by Meta85 Good food and/or water dish
Got this for my bearded dragon and I originally used it for his water bowl, but realized I can mist him and give him baths so I'm using it as his food bowl. This is good of course for either a food and/or a water bowl for any reptile. Very sturdy as well.

I'm using this as a soaking bowl for my toads, but it's a bit heavy for daily water changes. I'll manage. As a water or food bowl for a reptile who knocks things over, this'd be perfect.
