Kennyi African Cichlid
Very, very aggressive and territorial
Beautiful, yes. Compatible, no. Would only put the Kenyi in a tankful of LARGE aggressive cichlids so he or she is not the boss haha

Bought two of these fish, and they have been a good addition to my tank. They have a nice show of color. The two I bought were blue, but after a couple of weeks one of them is turning yellow (which is fine with me). My Kenyis are growing nicely and seem to be very healthy happy fish, they are not all that tolerant of each other but they have plenty of room to avoid confrontation in their 55 gal. tank. I would buy again.

I bought 2 Kenyis, a nice blue one and on turning yellow. I was told they could defend themselves. I have 2 convicts (1 is the boss of the tank), 2 auratus who are both aggresive. I wanted to add 2 more fish to the original 4. At first I thought they were doing great, until I woke up and the blue one was belly up, and the yellow one, now blue is a wimp, he stays in the corner, and cowards to any fish who goes next to him. I added a Jewel to see if the focus comes off him, and it has but he still cowars away. Lovey fish for a less aggressive tank. If I get a new tank I will definately want more, but make them "orignal".

This guys are great very colorful and easy to keep don't mind the whole advanced thing all you need to do is change 20% of the water every other week easy I have 2 in a ten gallon tank and there great the fish don't get that big actuall only 3 inches but don't keep them with barbs they will eat the fins off them (barbs will eat cichlids) my pictus catfish is a little weird now but it's okay over all great fish
