Aqueon® Goldfish Granules Fish Food
Only 1/3 Sink
With Fancy Goldfish it is important to provide food that does not float. I purchased it because it is Supposed to Sink Slowly, and not put the Goldfish at risk of gulping too much air when eating at the surface. Only 1/3 of the granules actually Float. I put about a dozen in the water tester tube I got with my aquarium filled with aquarium water and snapped the lid on. It sat there for 15 to 20 minutes and 2/3 stayed at the top and every couple minutes I was shaking it. I dumped off the Floaters and only fed the Sinkers and my Goldfish Did like them, but I am going to be throwing away a Lot of this product.

This is a good goldfish food for a good price. My orandas seem to love it! The only reason i gave it 4 stars not 5 is because they are supposed to be sinking pellets, but only about half of them sink.

last a year
I get the 7.12oz and it last about a year, pay $12 for food a year is a great deal, now I have 11 fishies that eats this and it still last a year. feed many pay for little. but what I don't like is when it's 80% finished, the last 20% are very tiny flakes and they look like powder in the tank, but it's ok cause my fishies cleans them up and my 8 algies eaters help out :) 19 fishies eating the tank clean :D
