We bought this to treat a 40 Gallon tall, heavily planted freshwater tank. A couple of our cardinal tetras exhibited signs of fungus so we thought this would be a quick and easy treatment. We followed the directions precisely. We removed carbon from the filters and administered the first dose, symptoms still persisted, we did a 50% water change, and administered a second dose. Still the fungus persisted, however now all our plants are dead or dying, the jungle val, the Amazon Swords, the Water Sprite, all severely damaged. Is this product safe to use on planted tanks? IF NOT IT SHOULD SAY THAT ON THE BOX!!!!!

I saw less spots on my fish about 7 hours after I got it. Although, my fish died after using this product.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Jake22 Horrible. Huge Pain
This product is good as a fungus guard, but the problem is that it will dye your water green. The only way to get rid of it is a water change. Biggest pain because it'll take about a month. Not worth the trouble. Would go with API next time.
