This is a pretty good tank, but the filter is really loud. The light isn't LED but it lasted a long time for me. I've had this tank for about 10 months and it worked like a charm. The filter rock did start to fall apart and eventually crack after 10 months, but it held together for the long time I had my fish. My female had tons of babies and it was easy for me to catch them when I could take off the top of the tank. Overall this tank is a good buy for beginners.

I don't know what these people are talking about, this tank rocks! For starters, as a poor college student in search of a proper home for my new fish companion, I couldn't argue with the price. The size and shape fits and looks perfect on the corner of my desk and the bubbler makes me and my fish happy. But don't expect to fit a huge decoration piece in it. I was able to fit two little plants and it looks nice to me. As for the LED light, yes it does die within like three days if you are only powering it with batteries but the people who complained about it obviously lack observational skill. If you turn your attention to the back of the LED light, you will see that you will be able to power it 24/7 with a DC power cord. You must get it separately but it is definitely worth getting. Overall I love this tank and my fish loves it too. Highly recommend!

No one should ever get a tank under two gallons. Even bettas, guppies, and small fish should`nt have to live in such small conditions. Use this tank for emergencies only. Thankyou.

Just purchased the 1.2G quad aquarium from Top Fin. It's a decent size tank and holds 3 plants. For one beta, it's fine. However, in order for the pump to work, it requires "outlet hose" (the cheap plastic tubing) which does NOT come with the tank and only notes in the instructions, once purchased, that it "must be purchased separately". This makes no since. It's probably the cheapest component to this set up and should come with it. Further, "no where" on the box does it note that
1)this tube is required or 2)that it must be purchased separately. It is not fair to the consumer to not include this information as we now have to make another trip.
