Rated 5 out of 5 by CT2014 We love these shoes for our poodle. When the temperatures in Chicago are below zero these boots are worth every penny spend. Keeps our dogs paws from the salt and cold, therefore allowing him to walk around the neighborhood to do his duties. Without the boots he was always lifting his paws... These boots stay secure on his paws. Would definitely buy them again....

Rated 3 out of 5 by Cowspotdog Much smaller then the size indicated
There were excellent little boots - well made but the size was way off. I have bought medium in the past in a different style of boot and according to the sizing chart on these boots - the medium should have fit my dog too. They were about two sizes smaller though - the medium was more like an extra small. I contacted PetSmart and was VERY impressed with their service - they refunded my money and asked me to donate the boots to my local humane society rather then send them back - how awesome was that. They went to a 9 year old little Jack Russell who really needed them :) Thank you Petsmart .... I didn't feel so bad driving an hour away to the nearest PetSmart store to get a different pair of boots in the correct size boots for my boy :)

Rated 1 out of 5 by Nerissa Vet Advised Against
I purchased these and another similar set of boots for my dog because they stayed on when I tried them in the store. However, I will be returning both sets on the advice of a vet. I was told that dog paws are more like our hands and, as such, their footwear should be styled more like our mittens than our shoes. It makes sense; if you watch your dog closely you will notice their paws straighten and then flex backwards at the "ankle" as they walk forward - these boots prevent the paws from maintaining that natural movement (this is why these boots stay on better - the paw is kept at an unnatural angle rather than allowing the paw to naturally straighten out and thus slip out of the boot). If you are looking for good boots that stay on try something like Muttlucks (just make sure you measure both the front and back paws as many dogs have smaller back paws and require two sizes to get the best fit and help ensure the boots stay on).

Rated 5 out of 5 by Sandyintexas Great fitting, highly recommend
I bought these booties because my Jack Russell keeps getting bit by fire ants between her toes. They fit perfect, the soles protect her feet. It just took her 2-3 minutes to get used to them then she was able to trot and run in them. We walked/ran 8 blocks and I did not have to adjust them, they stayed in place. I highly recommend them.
