National Geographic™ Aqua Oasis Betta Aquarium
Looks great but works poorly
I bought this tank about 3 months ago and while it looks beautiful it has already sprung a leak on the bottom. I got another tank and it too has begun to leak. In an attempt to keep this nice looking tank I tried to repair the tank by covering the crack with aquarium sealant however now a new leak has turned up. STEER CLEAR of this model. I have had great luck with other nat geo tanks but not this model.

Cruel for fish
There is a belief that a betta fish can live in bowls this size but a bowl this small is to small for any fish, especially tropical fish which require a heater and filter. Without a heater the fish dies a long slow death and without the filter ammonia and nitrates build up causing a toxic environment for your pet, it also allows crucial oxygen to get into the water. I would recommend at least a 5 gallon starter kit to give your new pet a great and clean home.
I wouldn't want to live in a home I ciuld barely turn around in.
