I upgraded my 5 gallon tank to a 10 gallon and I would say I am pretty satisfied so far. The clear top kind of threw me off a little bit simply because of condensation from the water. I don't fill the water all the way to the top so I was a little picky about seeing the water line. But I am over all of that now it just took some getting used to. But I love the way the light reflects off the tank it has a tropical look to me. I have seen some people complain about how the filter is too small or it leaks, I have had no problems with leakage and so far the filter seems to be working pretty good. I really have no need for the heater because I only have goldfish and I don't intend on getting any other kind of fish so I didn't bother installing it. I know cleaning this tank will be a bit of a challenge because it is taller than any other tank I have had and my arms are not that long, but I will work it out. Overall this tank is great and I know my fish are enjoying themselves and the extra space they have, would definetly recommend this tank to anyone!

This is one of my favorite tanks I own, I have a beta, A couple of blue snails, and if you cherry shrimp in it. I changed the filter to a hang on back Fluval 20, I also changed the lighting to a Fluval Nano Full spectrum.

Love this little gem. It's so very pretty! It's perfect for a few small fish. The filtration is quiet & adequate. I love the LED lights. Definitely a great starter tank or a good option to keep your goldfish in style.

This is a *really* nice looking tank. The effect of the curved front is quite impressive; and, as others have noted, gives the effect of a larger aquarium. The rimless top also gives a very clean appearance.
Definitely get the 30-gallon over the 20-gallon version if you can. The footprint of the 30-gallon fits the stand perfectly; and you're unlikely to regret the extra volume.
The included LED light is adequate for some fish; but, if you want to grow plants (or just about anything else photosynthetic and desirable), expect to purchase a separate light.
The included acrylic top has a well where the included LED fixture sits; if you use a different light, you will probably want to dispense with this cover, as well.
The weak link in this setup is the stand Marineland makes for this tank; but that's a separate listing (and a separate review). Just be advised that if you want a stand with enclosed storage, you'll probably need to build it yourself.
