Top Fin® Center Shelf Aquarium Stand
I purchased this stand over a year ago and liked it at first. I took my time putting it together and looked decent once assembled (minus a few edges I had to paint black). I figured this would make a good starter stand for my 75 gallon tank. The stand held up pretty good, but the overall quality is very poor. The stand is 100% laminated plywood and swells with any water drops. Also I had a small leak on a canister filter and had to trash the entire stand since it absorbed water at the bottom and the laminated finish came off. This stand is a piece of junk and I recommend spending the extra money and buying a solid "real" wood stand.

Pay for what you get
Bought this stand for a 50gal tank. Set up was beyond comprehension. The material is essentially junk press-wood. So when you go to hammer in the plastic pegs to connect some of the pieces - the wood splits because the manufactured holes are too tight for the pieces they supply. The MDF wood for the top piece has misaligned holes for us as well. Two of the back holes were not properly aligned and they were about an 1 1/4 inches off. Never the less - it did not securely fit and the top did not sit on to the pegs! Due to the nature of press wood, depending on how you set up the stand on the ground, the sides can shift - gradually as you get all the pieces in, things should tighten together, but they did not come together for us. We've set up countless wooden pieces from Sweden comp and have never ran in to this amount of issues with one product.
Sad to say - we returned this and I've since watched a few videos online and have made a beautiful custom built - solid wood - stand holding our tank.
Will never buy a product meant to hold "900 lbs" that is constructed with the lowest grade of press board that is subject to mold and degrades over time or immediately after purchase.

We attempted to buy this stand online. The first shipment came to us damaged and the second attempt at shipping didn't even make it to us, UPS determined it was damaged and sent it back for us. Petsmart was easy to deal with, after the first damaged stand they initiated a free replacement and credited us with half of the shipping costs. After the second damaged stand they refunded all of our money including the remaining shipping fees. We ended up finding the stand at our local Petsmart on sale for $139.99. It took my husband and I an hour and half to put it together, closely following the directions. It is a sturdy stand and accommodates our 55 gallon tank well, I'm no longer afraid our tank could topple on top of our small children. Overall, I would recommend this stand, if you can find it on sale.
