We bought this tank for my daughter's first Betta fish. I will start with recommending you take the tank out of the box and inspect it for cracks before taking one home. We made that mistake and ended up having to take it back to exchange it for a new one.
We have the pink sparkly one and it is really cute! It sits on the taller section of our kitchen counter and it doesn't take up much room at all. Also, I don't notice the noise of the filter at all. But I do have 2 dogs, a cat and a 4 year old...
The quality of the tank, filter and LED lights is what I would expect them to be. The light is a little obscured on the left side of the tank where the filter sits but that doesn't bother me, personally.
We bought a castle, a pack of 3 medium plastic plants, rocks and a heater, as well as a leaf hammock and a thermometer that sticks on the outside. There's plenty of room for our Betta to explore. The 10w heater has kept the water at an even 80 degrees. We have our house at about 68-70 typically.
It's super easy to feed our fish through the hole in the top of the tank. And the way the lid is designed it's easy for cords (heater, filter and light) to exit the back of the tank without affecting how the lid functions.
The flow of the filter that comes with the tank has been fine for us. Our Betta actual swims right up to where the water comes out almost like he likes the water flow, or he's interested in it at least. It doesn't seem to bother him at all though as he swims around. If you're not sure about this tank, I say go for it! I'll make sure to come back and edit at a future date if my opinions change!
