Bought the proper "Gallon-size". It's too small, the clips have rusted, after nearly a year it still tries to roll in on itself and it definitely blocks a lot from getting to the filters. The sides you place on to keep it straight even had to be tied in place with fishing wire because they keep falling off. Not worth the price I paid because my gourami still keep finding a way over, or under it despite having to pile up 4 inches of gravel under it to fill in the gap. Unfortunately, this was all my store had to offer.

Upon purchasing this product, it took me awhile to set it up within my aquarium. The instructions on the box didn't work as showed, and it was rather difficult to put the pieces together and have them remain together.
Eventually, I did figure out a way to set it up in my tank, and THEN it did serve its purpose well. If algae grows on it, it's easy to scrub off with a toothbrush. I've also had it with me for the better part of a year, and still works as it did when purchased.
However, the divider is subject to being flimsy; it can be a bit of a hassle to put in the aquarium, and have it stand up straight.
Overall, an 'okay' product. Lots of room for improvement, but gets the job done (when figured out how to install it in the tank).

I dont understand why so many people rate this product so low. It was a little stubborn, but i figured it out quickly and got it in my 10 gallon. I plan on using it for my betta fish. I bought 2 of them for a reason. I stuck the filter in the middle, took up about four inches, put a divider on either side of it. I also put some plants in the middle. They cant see each other that much, and it still gives them a very nice living area. It looks a wee bit tacky, but hey i dont mind at all, it will be perfect for my bettas. (If you get betta fish, please please dont shove them in those little gallon containers. They need AT LEAST 2.5 gallons! Personally i wouldn't go lower then that. 5 gallons work very well!)
