Nylabone Romp N Chomp Treat Holds 'Ems Dog Toy
I purchased this toy for my 8 month old red heeler mix puppy. (To be fair, the only toy that he has not been able to figure out, and destroy, within a few days time is his black Kong. He can get anything out of that in 2 minutes flat, but he has not even been able to leave a tooth mark so far.)
We wanted to find him a new toy that would last and give him challenges, and I thought I would like the design of this Romp N Chomp toy, large size. I purchased it about noon on Saturday. I opened the package and inserted one of the treat sticks that comes with it. The first offering he was only mildly interested, but that was OK. Later in the afternoon he played with it again. Within about half an hour, he had completely chewed off the four flaps on on end and removed the treat. He had learned how to hold it to grab a flap with his teeth. It still works with a piece of dried sweet potato jammed in and will entertain him for 15 to 20 minutes, but I will not be buying another one of these for him!

My mini cannot get the treats out without help. It has lasted about five days with an extreme chewer but now the plastic flaps are about to be ripped off. Not a great buy.

Durable and Fun
I have a purebred Lab, and have found this toy to be wonderful. I do not use the treats that come with the toy - instead, I stuff the holes with peanut butter and kibble. He works at it for quite some time before he gets bored. The same toy lasted 2 years before he managed to bit off one of the end flaps - and he is an aggressive chewer. My previous Lab had to have abdominal surgery after chewing through the supposedly indestructible Kong, so I'd put my money on this toy anytime.

my dog did not find it entertaining
It's a dumb design. If my dog wants the treat she's going to have to break the stupid thing.
