Do not let the price fool you, this product is subpar. Although I do feel the need to explain. I have a 140lbs english mastiff. I set my desired collar size but with the slightest pull it will open to full size and slip right off everytime. To say i was disappointed is an understatement. Kong leads you to be quality but lacks any.

Rated 5 out of 5 by HuskyGrace A++ from this Husky Mom!
My male husky pup has worn this collar for almost a year now and it has held up for longer than any other collar we've owned! We are pretty hard on our collars since we like to go hiking, swimming at the dog park, and playing in mud and rain puddles. I even washed it in the washing machine and it still looks great! We are really impressed with this brand, I plan to stick with this brand for collars & leashes from now on!!
Thanks for having so much of the Kong brand, Petsmart.

Rated 1 out of 5 by DNorris I have a black dog, and we often run after sunset, which made a reflective collar an attractive option. However, after less than 8 months, the buckle no longer secures the collar reliably. I was walking my dog, and he saw a rabbit, charged, and I was left with a leash attached to an unbuckled collar. I bent the two prongs of the buckle outward to try and get me by until I could buy a replacement, but the collar failed again later that day.
The prongs contain barbs that are supposed to prevent the collar from becoming unbuckled. I compared the barbs on the Kong collar to my dog's previous collar, which began to fray but never came unbuckled in 3.5 years. The barbs on the Kong are so much smaller and the prongs much more flexible.
I am disappointed with the inadequate design of the Kong collar. The purpose of a dog collar is obvious, and so is my decision to never buy another made by Kong.

My dog has a long cable for around the house, sometimes he'll get a scent and quickly go into the woods(5 or 6ft.) where the collar will come off. I bought another collar thinking the plastic must be defective, the new one does the same thing. This has happened about 6 times. I can take him for a walk or if he stays in the yard no problem. I have to keep readjusting the collar too, annoying.
