Quick Release Martingale
The metal turned onto my wolfgrey colored husky, so his neck was icky grey/black after wearing consistently.
Luckily, he was growing so we didn't have it on long, but I would not recommend for a lighter colored dog - and the reason I won't be buying this one again, which is a shame because it's hard to find various styles and colors like this collar (martingale w/quick release) on the market.

Rated 1 out of 5 by Longdoggs Great idea, cheap metal
I loved the idea of the buckle to remove easily, but however I own a pure white dog and the chain part has completely turned her neck a foot wide of black from the metal, would be nice if for the price it was better quality! Extremely upsetting after a spa day to have a black neck two days later:(

Rated 5 out of 5 by TDItrainer Great "Step-Down" Product!
I train for Therapy and Basic Obedience, and these are a great "step-down" collar!
My Therapy Dogs are always started on a slip collar. Transitioning some of them to a flat collar was a pain, because of the different feel. We tried the basic martingale, but didn't like having to adjust the collar in order to slide on/off the head. These collars are great to just snap on and go!
I would NOT recommend these collars for dogs who are in the beginning phases of training, as the padded collar does tend to stretch and loosen if the dog pulls too much, although you should always try to "pop", not "pull" the dog when using these collars anyway.
All in all, a great product for the money, exactly what we were looking for!

Rated 4 out of 5 by SDanielle Quick Release Collar
I bought this because my mother's large dog needs a martingale style collar. She used to have the chain version before manufacturers used fabric, but never had a quick release. I was a bit disappointed that the colors were limited (red and silver), but once I put it on, I was happy with the purchase. It is a very nice everyday collar.
Already we have used the quick-release several times.
