The Doggie Dooley Pet Waste Disposal System
Idea is great, however, after using with two small dogs for over two years the drainage holes started clogging up. I actually shop vaccumed the waste, removed the unit and found the dirt wall sides were caving in. I contacted Doggie Dooley and the person said, "Oh, that model does that". She recommended the metal model with the drainage hole in the middle. Well, if I didn't like the cleanliness of disposing the dog waste like this I would forget it. But I think I will get the metal unit and start over. However, I am a little miffed at Doggie Dooley's attitude and no offer of a trade up at a discount.

Had usually 3 dogs, sometimes 5. Product wasn't hard to install. The hole is done with a post hole digger- no problem (unless you don't have one.) Kept it until I HAD to move it for redoing the back fence. I'm on here now to order another.

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY
If you think that digging the four foot deep hole is bad just wait until you try to remove this horrible product after it has been "used".
I followed the instructions and even contacted the maker of this product to make sure I was doing it correctly and it did not work at all!
This system does not dispose of solids at all but just fills up with the waste you enter into it and has a horrible odor which will take over the area you install it.
Do not make the same mistake I did and purchase this product. Just go with the five gallon bucket with a bag inside and empty it weekly.
Removing this product which did not work at all was one of the more unpleasent events in my life...

Can't keep up
We have had this thing for a year and I'm not impressed. I bought this based on the reviews, especially the person who said they had 3 Great Danes and a lab and it worked great. I have serious doubts about that review being truthful. I have one Great Dane Boxer mix and it can't keep up. My husband followed all the directions, including the massive hole, the rinsing out with the hose (you don't want to be near on those days - have you ever had to empty a porta potty?), and using the right amount of the digestive element regularly. That stuff is not cheap, by the way and it's almost always filled to the top. It's not digesting anything.
Also if you live in a climate where it gets below 32 you can't use it in the winter. This spring we still had compacted waste in there from last year. We use it for about half the waste and bag and dispose of the other half. Might work if you have one Yorkie or Chi.
