GNC Ultra Mega Nourishdog Senior Dog Formula
Our 16 year old dog was losing interest in food. We tried everything from ice cream to hot dogs. She loves Nourishdog! After having her a.m. and p.m. drink she is once again looking for her dinner bowl. Thank you for this product.

GNC Ultra Mega Nourishdog Liquid for Senior Dogs
I am not a veternarian so do not follow what I have done without a consultation with a veternarian.
Our 10 yr old yorkie suddenly developed type 2 diabetes. She was not overweight and develped it due to steriod use. So when she got sick she stopped eating and lost weight (that she needed to keep). She refused to eat the diabetic food and we were told that she HAD to start eating it. So after trying many options we found that by dipping the diabetic food in this product she WILL eat a normal amount of food. FYI she is a super picky eater and hates all food with the exception of cooked plain checken mixed with the Wellness brand canned food (which she is not allowed to eat any longer).
This product has helped her gain a bit of need weight back and maintain her blood suger levels when they drop too low.
However it seems there is not a powdered option and the cans are $8 each. We use about 4 to 5 cans a week and that adds up to EXPENSIVE (add on lots of vet visits, insulin, syringes, dog glucometer with strips, diabetic dog food). This is a longer term condition and we are looking for another alternative because the cans are costing us about $170 a month and $2040 year for the next 5 years that over $10,000. We just bought our last 6 cans and a can of Dog Slim (which a friend has had good results with). I hope you can develop a dry version soon. If not we just can not afford this wonderful product when we have to pay for all the other medications, food and ect to treat her diabetes.
I would have given it 5 stars but the fact that I cant seem to find a dry version that is less expensive I had to give 4 stars.
