This Kong bone was amazing! I filled the middle up with chicken broth, froze it, then stuffed Puperoni treats in the holes and it took our 4 month old german shepherd an hour to clean it out. And it was still in great shape afterwards. I loved it so much I got my other shepherd the bigger size and although she's a heavier chewer, it does great as well. Although the softer plastic doesnt last as long (about 3 months) it is good for their gums and I dont have to brush their teeth as often. The bone held up better than the star pod just because there were less pieces to bite off.

I have two labs and bought these for them to keep them busy when home alone. They both destroyed theirs the first day. I was disappointed in the quality and durability of these products, especially from Kong.

We rescued our 43lb. Staffordshire Bull Terrier
(aka Pocket Pit bull) In November and we love her to pieces but she is a CHEWER! Literally every toy we have gotten her she has destroyed. I wanted to try to KONG toys because they have a record of being tough. Well, I was very disappointed. I gave our Daisy this toy and put small pieces of food into it to make it last longer.... We got a whole ten seconds. Literally. Very disappointed.

by GonzoBean Great if it Lasts...
My 5 month old adopted Beagle/Collie mix loved this new toy and it does keep him occupied. But after only 2 DAYS there is a crack in the rubber near the "ball" end of the bone. This was not caused by chewing and looks more like a defect. I will be asking for my money back but I would try another time with this toy. The holes make good hiding places for small treats and keeps the dog engaged in chewing. The rubber does seem softer than the standard Kong toy so I do have my concerns about durability. I would not reccomend this for strong or even medium chewers. Small puppies/dogs and senior dogs may be a better fit for this item.
