I have used these for years and they were great! , until they decided to try and make more money by changing the design. The originals with the "BLUE" backing were wonderful and not once in all the years I've used them did I have a problem. Now, the padding is half the thickness of the original and the "BROWN" plastic backing has allowed urine to seep through it onto the floor and rug.The quality of the original product is just not there anymore. Needless to say say for the price you have to pay for them, they are just not worth it. I used to buy a box of 150 every month, and now, they just lost another good customer. If I had to rate the new pads on a scale of 1 to 5 stars, I would rate them -10 stars! Don't waste your money.

I've used this Top Paw product for 5 years and the blue back one were great very absorbent. These new beige ones are horrible. They don't absorb very well. They don't hold the odor. Because of the poor quality, my two Pomeranians use more pads because they don't like re-using a spot as they would have with the blue pads. Bring back the blue pads. Otherwise I'll have to find another quality pad and leave PetSmart probably for good

Rated 1 out of 5 by IzsMom Have used Top Paw XL pads for years. They were the best I found until you started to change them. The packaging changed and comes in a smaller box and the pads are folded on the edges, which affects the way they lay. The pads are flimsy, less absorbent, leak and hold far less than the advertised 5 cups of liquid. Additionally, they no longer seem to be odor absorbent as advertised. Please make the previous design available again as they are by far a superior product.

Top Paw pads were the best. Our small dogs have used them for years. They were absorbent, durable, and cost effective.
But, these pads have changed. They are thinner, not very absorbent, and they tear easily. Urine does not absorb properly resulting in frequent runoff. Fortunately, we use a larger under-pad and floor protecting vinyl.
Reluctantly, we will have to look elsewhere.
