We were so happy with this product! I had read reviews before buying and consulted two different vet offices, including the one inside Petsmart (Banfield) and had the vet tech swear up and down this and any other OTC dewormer would not work. She was adament I needed to bring our puppy in for an exam, fecal, etc. We are not made of $, so figured for under $17 this was worth the shot because reviews were so good. I am so happy I did not listen to the money hungry Banfield employee. This product worked like a charm! Our 1.5lb 9wk old Yorkie/Pom was tapeworm free in 48hrs! They all came out dead in her stool. Had I listened and took her in for the exam and fecal, no doubt I would have ended up spending $200+.
I tend to trust reviews by real people and I am so glad I trusted my instincts over a place that just wanted my $ no doubt.

My poor new dog had tape worms and whip worms. I had just bought a 12 month supply of heart guard only to get a phone call from my Vet informing me that my dear dog had whip worms. Heart Guard doesn't treat whip worms. He wanted to put together some packs of medication for me and charge me a pretty penny I'm sure. I requested the active ingredient of the medication he was going to prescribe and found this online. My dog had no side effects and we will retreat in 2-3 months.

I have a 10 year old female pitbull who had lost close to half of her body weight due to what I thought was just diabetes. Then upon taking her out, I discovered she had contracted worms. I couldn't afford to take her to the vet again, as they wanted $36 just to examine the stool specimen alone. Then who knows what they would have wanted for the medicine. (I imagine it would not have been cheap.) I compared all of the deworming products on PetSmart's site, and this had the most positive reviews. So, I decided to give this a shot. The dosing method, for me, probably would have the easier route, as opposed to pills. This is an odorless, flavorless powder that is mixed in the dog's food. My dog ate it with no problems or hesitation. I have not noticed anymore worms in her stool after the 3 days. I hope she puts her weight back on. It looks like she has put on a few pounds since. I will update when I get confirmation. I would recommend this product.
