Four of the hinges on the front door were clamped without being connected to the crate. Luckily, my husband is strong and used pliers to pry them open and attach them to the crate. You would think at the price $249.99 that the factory would check that the doors worked before sending out the product. The cage is nice once you fix the mistakes of faulty factory assembly. Just disappointed.

Our lab puppy had outgrown his old crate. Husband put this one together in half an hour. Very sturdy and secure, yet easy to open doors. Highly recommend.

We purchased the 48 inch version of this crate for our Weimeraner puppy, who we estimate will be about 60-70 pounds. The assembly was not quite as easy as the site and store associates claimed; it took my husband and me about 1.5 hours to put it together. This was mostly because the instructions were trapped under the crate when it was folded down, and very difficult to get to. Once together, the function of the crate is excellent. We are very happy that the crate came with a divider that we can use while our dog is still a pup. It is also nice that the tray pops out so it can be easily cleaned. I don't think it would be very easy to transport this crate, due to it being a little difficult to break down and set up. Also, ours is very heavy, but we do have the largest one. My husband has noticed some small areas where the paint/coating has flaked off, but I did not notice this until he brought it to my attention. Overall, I would purchase this crate again, if given the choice.

This crate kept my Labradoodle, Mack really well. Definitely worth your money. He's usually quite the escape artist, but this one kept him inside.
