Petmate® Ortho Dog Crate Mat
OK bed - doesn't wash well.
This bed is OK. I think we have had it for about 6 months now. The foam is already flat. And I washed the shell, which shrunk and now doesn't fit over the foam properly.
It did help with the calluses that my dog was getting on her elbows. They have completely gone away.
For what we paid I don't think I would purchase another one.

Both of the mats we purchased work well in the cages to train our new puppy. She seems to like them also.

Don'a leave unattended untill fully crate trained.
I bought this for my 1 year old that is not completely trained and he chewed through the cover and some of the foam on day three. I do love that it is waterproof and machine washable. He peed on it and "carefully" we took it outside and the foam was completely dry. I wouldn't recommend using this unless your puppy/dog is fully crate trained and if they like to chew things up.

Great choice depending on your dog's behavior
I got the largest size available for my boxer puppy. After the first night, I discovered that the cover on this is not waterproof. He peed on it and it soaked right through. And it was too big to wash, so I had to take the foam outside and hose it off. It took all day to dry out. This has happened several times now. The other day I went to the store. I was only gone 1 hour, and I came back and it was chewed into hundreds of pieces. He managed to chew the cover off at the side where the zipper is, and he chewed the foam up. Never again will I purchase this kind of crate liner. I'm going to stick to the basic, completely washable fleece kind that don't have a cover. Those would be much harder to chew up, and easier to clean. And a lot cheaper.
However, if your dog is completely potty trained and doesn't chew anything, this would be a great choice.
