This collar works great. I have a dachshund who had surgery on her eye. The inflatable collar gave her the ability to eat, play and get around without running into anything. It stayed inflated with no problem. I would recommend this to anyone who does not want to use the plastic cone on their animal.

My pominese was going crazy with a traditional cone after being spayed. The sneaky little thing that she is, she was able to figure out how to get the cone off and go to town on her incision. We picked up this inflatable collar at our local pet smart and not only did it work like a charm but it doesn't bother our pup one bit! She seems much more content wearing this collar compared to the cone and there's no way she's getting this one off. She wasn't thrilled getting it on (I don't blame her) but once it was on she didn't seem to mind it. I would highly recommend this to anyone who has a pup that hates the cone or has a habit of finding way to get their cone off!

Rated 1 out of 5 by IndyDog317 Awful product. Cheaply made.
I cannot recommend against this product enough. zipper broke within minutes of taking the collar out of the box, the body strap broke within 3 days and day 7, today, the seam in the inflatable part has split and it will no longer hold air. So in a week the $40 dollar collar is now entirely useless. Complete garbage. My dog was super stressed in the cone and this product granted him some relief but because of how poor the quality is I am going to have to put him back in the cone until I can find a product that actually worth the money. I feel bad wanting to bring this back since it was definitely used but come on, it is ridiculous how poorly this thing is made and how it holds up.

I have only had this product on my dog for a half hour, but I already know he can reach his neuter stitches, so I feel okay reviewing it. He can eat, drink, and lay down more comfortably. He is pawing to get it off, but his whining about it has already subsided and he seems to have accepted it. He whined a whole day in a traditional cone before we could get this one.
We got this for our dog after his neuter and gastropexy (done in one appointment). He was one inch too big for the large and 4 inches too small for the XL, so we sized up to the XL, but he can still reach around it to get to his neuter stitches. He can't reach his stomach stitches, though. Nonetheless, I can't leave him to sleep in it because he can fully reach some of his stitches, so the purpose of this cone was mostly defeated.
He's not a "long-legged" dog, either. He's actually pretty stocky and clumsy, so I feel he really shouldn't be able to reach around it, and if he can, most dogs probably can (except for like, bulldogs). I might go in for a refund.
