Rated 1 out of 5 by MaxInCali I bought this for my 12-pound mini poodle who pulled so hard on a regular leash that he would choke himself. I've had this for a week, no pulling, no choking -- worked great. Until I noticed that the chest strap was almost worn completely through in TWO places. Mind you -- I've had this for a week, my dog is 12 POUNDS and if it works (which it did), there's no pulling. So, I'm not sure how in the world the strap wore down so quickly. If I hadn't noticed, that strap would have snapped and he might have escaped. DO NOT recommend this at all.

This product is amazing! We recently rescued a male shepherd mix dog. He started out as a well behaved walker, but as time went on, he got increasingly worse on the leash. Pulling so hard that I could barely control him. He would dart out at cars and huff and puff so hard that he could barely breathe. Honestly, I was beginning to dread the "walks"! My niece recommended this product and I bought it on my lunch hour. After work, I picked up my dog and took him back to PetSmart where one of the trainers helped me fit it to his body. I cannot even tell you the difference in our walks...right from the second I put it on him! I will say that he does still like to go fast on our walks, which is fine. But NO MORE PULLING and YANKING till my hands and fingers almost fell off! It's easy to put on and take off as well.

When my golden retriever was 13 weeks old he started to pull very hard, I purchased the Thunder Leash at Pet Smart and it will work when there were no dogs or people around but not if I went to Pet Smart. The dog trainer at Pet Smart recommended the Easy Walk harness and it worked great. My golden is now 20 weeks old and I can walk him by myself in my wheelchair using the Easy Walk.

by Doelady Amazing!!!
I just got mine for my basset/shepherd mix, Beretta. She is 43lbs of muscle! My boyfriend and I joke she is all shepherd on basset legs. She is one heck of a puller though for her short size and will be coughing and wheezing while on a walk because she is pulling so hard! After lots of research and advice from the shelter we adopted her from we bought an easy walk harness. I put it on her, adjusted it, got a handful of training treats and let out a big sigh as I prepared to open the door with her tugging my arm out of it's socket. She tried to pull and stopped immediately. Holy cow! She caught on quick with lots of praise and treats to go with it, she's very food motivated. I was able to walk her and not the other way around for the first time since we got her. It was amazing! I literally almost burst into tears of joy! Beretta is the best dog I have ever had the pleasure to own though she had such a pulling problem. Now with this harness she, my boyfriend and I are even happier especially when it comes to walks! My tips for this harness are: watch the video on YouTube on how to put it on. Makes it so much easier and do give your pup training treats while putting it on and adjusting the harness to distract them.
