I've bought this bowl twice for my fox terrier. It doesn't last long... the bottom section of bowl that connects with hanger at the base keeps breaking off leaving a small hole at base of water bowl... Not sure how she is doing this but it has happened twice. Rest of bowl is intact.

Very unhappy that at $8.99 a piece these didn't even take a month for my puppy to destroy them. I understand puppies chew, but the first time he was in the crate (with the bowls) and put a ton of chew marks in them. Then he broke the clip off the bottom of one. And spun the other bowl. More of a hassle then any help. Not to mention I was freaking out worried if me had swallowed a piece.

My puppy needed a water bowl for her crate and we didnt want her to lay in it and dump it. This bowl does just that for the most part. It isnt 100% stable when you attach it to the crate ( it still can be knocked to the side) It is still the best item i have found on the market.

It's very easy for even a 5 lb. puppy to turn the bowl 90 degrees and remove it. If this is a teething puppy, then both the bowl and the holder are quickly decimated and rendered useless. Even with a non-chewing older dog, a little bit of pawing can remove the bowl, snapping off a piece of the brittle plastic tab on the bottom, at which point it is no longer secure. It's a terrible design.
