i was a little afraid on buying this due to the bad reviews, im glad i end up buying it! i realized if you're using this for a scratching problem, its not gonna work. its the taste that keeps the cats away. it has no smell what so ever. so if your cat is biting something then this will work.

We just moved into a new home and all a sudden our cat that never chewed on anything at all is now chewing through playstation controller wires , the bed posts, night stands ect. We brought this spray in hopes to stop him from doing it ... and well the dumb dumb seems to enjoy the bitterness of the spray because he still does it... this stuff is gross you need to wear something on your face to cover your mouth and nose while you spray it or else you will taste the bitterness for hours after using it ... so needless to say dont waste your time buying it or using it..... going to try to look for a home made remedy ... like hot pepper and water

I have used spray repellents before with great success. I just adopted a cat, 5 years old with claws. Sprayed plenty on my living room furniture. Five minutes later, he was trying to sharpen his claws in the same spot I had almost soaked with the repellent. Trying with the double sided tape until I find the brand of repellent I have used before.

Our kitten will chew anything. Her favorite thing seems to be cords. Its really not safe. We got this and she definitely doesnt chew the cords anymore.
Dont spray it to heavily and breathe in and be careful to not get it on your hands. It does not wash off even after multiple washes I can attest as a nail biter that it tastes awful.
