Purina® TIDY CATS 24/7 Performance Multiple Cat Litter
Tidy Cat Litter Was The Best, But No Longer!!!!
I have been a loyal Tidy Cat customer for years, but no longer. I don't know what has changed, but this litter no longer clumps or eliminates odors. Not sure if this is a manufacturing/quality issue or if the change was on purpose, but after purchasing this product from several different stores over the past two months, I will be looking for another brand to purchase. Tidy Cat has always been exceptional quality but the lack of odor control and not clumping has driven me away. What happened to this once great product?

No longer clumps!!!
I found this site while looking up, why is my clumping litter not clumping!!! Over the last couple of weeks I noticed that my cat litter is not clumping either, and it is the exact type as shown on this site, multiple cats, 24/7 tight clumps, they not to change the tight clumps to "no longer clumps"

Used to be great
I am relieved to read that others are having these same issues. I have been a loyal TC user for over ten years now but have started looking for something new. I have the same issue where the litter is tracked all over the house, it gets caught in the cats' paws, and it sticks to the bottom and sides of the box so fiercely I had to buy a new scoop that is of a heavier construction. I was fearing that there was something wrong with one of my cat's urine; she is diabetic and I was afraid something else was going wrong. I had her checked at the vet but her condition was unchanged. How deeply disappointing that it is a problem with the litter. I appreciate the odor control but the other issues are outweighing that benefit.

New formulas stink....and I've tried all of them!
I have used the Tidy Cats clumping litter for years because it was always the best in the past. But, they must have changed the formula within the last year or so because now it is terrible. Each time the cat urinates, the litter clumps into a soggy mass of clay which sticks to the litter box. Whenever I go to change the litter and wash the litterbox, I have to scrape like crazy to get the disgusting clumps off of the letterbox in multiple areas. I have tried all of the varieties of Tidy Cats, including the light weight and they are all the same now. I have 2 other friends who also used to use Tidy Cats and oddly enough, it came up in conversation that they had been having the same problems and also switched!
