Rated 5 out of 5 by LudwigsMS Best litter for puppies!
Best I've tried since started litter box training puppies back in 2009. This is the only one that doesn't make a mess outside the litter box with crumbs and broken down pieces. Works great!!

The ExquisiCat Paper Pellets work great! They control the odor and had hardly any dust. I was very happy with them for the price. I noticed that PetSmart also offers a crumbled paper litter that is supposed to be softer on the paws but I haven't tried that yet.

This is absolutely the WORST litter I have ever tried to use...I cannot think of one positive thing to say about it and after one day of my cats totally avoiding it I returned the unused portion to Petsmart for a refund. It is so loose and fluffy in the litter box that they sank to their bellies when they stepped into it and they immediately exited and used the other litter box. I tried pouring water on it and it barely absorbed any of it. As another reviewer noted the solid waste just sat on top and I suspect it would do that or worse, just sink through the paper and end up under the litter. Save your money...it is a waste!

A friend had recently recommended this product because I was complaining about how Swheat Scoop tracks everywhere. I got the "old" (I guess) paper pellets, and I was so pleased because there was no more tracking and no odor. All set, right? Nope! The third time I buy it, I get it home and it's like this gray confetti, which tracks worse than the wheat ever did!! Gray paper all around, every room, every time I turn around. Plus, now I'm seeing little streaks of brown on the floor -- which has never happened in the six years I've had my cats. Horrible, horrible product. If this shredding idea was supposed to be an improvement, I can't imagine that it was ever tested first with any actual cat owners. UGH! I hope the pellets are still available.
