Fresh Step® Multiple Cat Scoopable Clumping Cat Litter
Controls the odor very well... but don't like the clumping
I have been using Fresh Step for about a year now (it's definitely much better than the last brand I used before). This kind of litter does keep the odor to a minimum, but what I don't like is the clumping. Normally it take me just a few minutes to scoop out the stuff in the boxes, but I feel like it takes a lot longer now since it all clumps together (and even when I get the big pieces out, I feel like I could still scoop out little pieces). Also, it seems like when days go by, you notice less litter in the box because a lot of it clumps together (which contributes to stuff sticking to the bottom of the litter boxes when it's time to clean them out).
I would recommend this litter if you don't care about clumping or want great odor control. Personally for me, I think I'll switch to the Extreme Clay litter because it's easier and takes less time to get the stuff out of the boxes.

Keeps odors to a minimum
You wouldn't know I have 3 cats. This is the best litter I've used!

Only litter for me!
I have 13 cats in my house at all times. I use kiddie swimming pools for cat boxes. Fresh step is the only litter I use and would not think of using anything else! People come to visit and have NO idea how many cats live here!

I agree with the other reviews about the dust factor. I've been buying Fresh Step for years and used to be happy with it. Then, the "new and improved" formulas came out and have entirely too much dust. Its visably all over my cats and the room that the litter box is in. I've switched to the Unscented, which helps a little, but there is still more dust there than there used to be. And there are other issues with the Unscented... it is much less available in stores and seems to only come in the 25lb box and not the 42lb. If I can't find what I want, when and where I want, I'm sadly going to have to switch litters.
