We have been using crystal litter for at least a year now and have tried a few different brands. This was the only crystal litter my local store had in stock that day and I needed litter so exquisicat it was. I already knew not to expect 'low dust' when filling the boxes and did that outside so it was not an issue.
These crystals are some of the largest I have seen. My cats will use the larger crystals but they do not really dig like they will with the smaller ones, which seems weird to me. The little digging that they do is very loud, I can hear is from the other room type loud. While fewer of the large crystals make their way out of the box then smaller ones, when you do step on one it really hurts.
All of those issues are things I have dealt with in the past. I was not pleased but not surprised. What I do not understand is how the odor control is so much less affective with this brand. Same two cats, same diet, same two litter boxes. I scoop every few days (I know I should do it more but just being honest how often it gets done) and after around two weeks I will completely dump both boxes. Usually when it gets time to dump the boxes I am just starting to slightly notice a smell but the litter has started to look dirty so I change it It has been about three days with this stuff and I want to dump the boxes now because of odor.
Since all these litters are made from more or less the same stuff I have no clue why I am having this issue. Both cats are acting perfectly healthy, and like I said they have not had a change in diet.
I have always thought those 'blue crystals' mixed in were just a visual marketing trick but maybe I was wrong since I did notice there are very few of them in this brand. When I opened the bag I was actually pleased to see less blue because I figured it was less artificial color in the product.
Although I will say I would buy this again over any clay litter. I never have to worry about scraping wet litter off my boxes or litter grey paw prints. Just scoop out the dehydrated solids and in the end dump the box into a trash bag. I rinse the box out after but that step could even be optional if I changed them more often. Every penny extra I pay over using clay is worth it to me.

I wish PetSmart had never switched to this brand of crystal litter. My cat hates it and so do I. It's like walking on boulders. Please bring back Nature's Miracle!!!!!

I was standing in the store trying to figure out which brand of litter to try since my current brand had suddenly become way too dusty. A customer strongly recommended this brand. It is very low to hardly any dust and really helps with the odor. However, the size of the crystals make it very difficult to remove the waste without removing the crystals too. They are too large to fall through the scooper, so you have to play games and toss it around a little. I ended up mixing in some clay litter to make it easier. The cats are also tracking these crystals out of the box. I will not buy this litter again. Too expensive and difficult to use.

I usually use Worlds Best Cat litter but we thought we would try something new. My cat (Jake) seemed a little skeptical at first but decided to try it out. However, opening the bag and pouring it into the box made a dust cloud. I had to stop a couple of times just for air.
We'll probably finish off the bag but I don't think we will buy it again. The dust was awful.
Does help with smell
Doesn't track as much
A ton of dust
kinda noisy (not that big of a deal)
