Rated 5 out of 5 by from great litter my cat started to urinate outside the litter box and i thought i was going to go crazy. i changed the litter to scoop away and he doesn't have any more problems. it clumps really tightly so it doesn't break apart and smell. it has a strong perfumey smell but in my opinion that's good. the box is always fresh smelling after i scoop it. i know someone said that their cat smells perfumey when he comes out of the box but i like it. i think he smells great. it's better than smelling like urine!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best litter Ive used! After reading a bunch of reviews on this product, both positive and negative, I decided to try it for myself. I was currently using Arm and Hammer Multiple Cat and Within hours after changing the litter all 3 of my boxes smelled terrible. I decided to do a test and I emptied out and cleaned the biggest, most used litter box, which also happens to be in the highest traffic area, right next to the front door and put the Scoop Away in that box and leave the other two boxes with the Arm and Hammer. By the end of the day, the two boxes that are used the least smelled terribly, I still smelled nothing from the box with the Scoop Away. I left it for a week, (I normally wouldnt have left it that long, but I went away on vacation, and the person I got to come feed them was uncomfortable with the scooping boxes) By the end of the week, The box with the Scoop Away still didnt smell, but the other boxes were absolutely unbearable. I smelled a slight smell while scooping out the Scoop Away but nothing like what I smelled with the other boxes. This is absolutely the best litter for odor control and clumps great. After scooping the box, the litter looks like new. The Scoop Away is much more dusty and super perfumed, but id rather smell the perfume than the deposits in the box. So as long as you dont mind the dust and perfume of the Scoop Away this is absolutely the best litter when it comes to odor control. I have tried every other litter and this was by far the best.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Stands up to 5 large cats without ever dumping! Five years we searched for litter that would handle the smell, clumping and cleaning(dumping out) the box for our 5 large cats. We Love Scoop Away for the last 2 years it is the BEST litter product we have ever bought. The price is reasonable since you Neverever have to dump out that litter box again!! This litter does have very tight clumps and it is heavy so, you might need to buy a metal or sturdy plastic scooper. FYI, I had 2 thin scoopers and they both broke in just a few weeks. After scooping just add more Scoop Away its that easy! Thank you for reading we hope this helps you and your cats.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best cat litter ever! I absolutely love this litter! My only thing I have against it is that when you pour it causes the clay dust to fly some what. I don't mind it cause it work so well. It clumps really well and there's no smell what's so ever. When using have a mat out because it does track in the floor cause it fine particles. I still don't mind that because it works so well on my main problem the smell and clumping. Lol I like it over tidy cats because it work better on hiding the smell.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This Litter is Awesome! This is by far the best litter I have ever used and believe I have tried nearly every one. When you take out all the clumps, the litter looks practically new unlike every other brand where you can still see (and smell) the darker urine soaked litter bits. They did have a brief problem where they changed their formula and it made the urine smell worse but they have fixed and also reduced the dust when cleaning the litter. There is still some dust when you pour it but not an excessive amount. Overall I love this litter, as long as they do not mess with the formulation and make it bad again. I am sticking with this brand forever.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Better than others I have tried I have 3 cats sharing one large litter box. Prior to using Scoop Away, I used Tidy cat for several years. Lately the Tidy Cat wasn't clumping as well and we were having significant ammonia odor problems too soon after washing the litter box and changing the litter. So, I decided to give Scoop Away a try after reading favorable reviews somewhere. With Tidy Cat, I had to change the litter completely and wash the box about every 4 weeks (and that last week was really pushing it) With Scoop Away, I immediately noticed that the clumping was far superior to what I had experienced before, and I was able to get all of the waste out of the box without breaking clumps and the box smells like new after scooping. The only drawback that I have noticed is that the litter is pretty dusty- our placement of our litter box is not harmed by a little dust though, so it is worth that concession. I imagine people with respiratory problems might consider this a deal breaker, because it is definitely noticeable. My favorite aspect of the Scoop Away is that I don't have to wash the litter box anywhere near as often. I add litter once it starts to get low, but the box has not required any cleaning outside of normal scooping. The box has never had ammonia odor problems, not even a little. I have not had to empty and wash it yet after 3 months of use.

Rated 4 out of 5 by from Dusty but great our six year kitty had recently begun flinging out the litter we'd been using for awhile - Fresh Step - even in the hooded litter box. So we tried the crushed walnuts - that stuff was terrible, and not only flung all over the laundry room, but tracked EVERYWHERE. So several different brands later, here i am experimenting with Scoop Away. 48 hours, no flinging. It is truly very very dusty when you dump it in the litter box but that resolves quickly. She immediately went into the box, used it, didn't fling it out the door, and is not tracking it all over the house! I have spent several hours sweeping up crushed walnuts and blue and white crystals that really crunch under your feet as well as other tiny pellets from various brands of litter! we don't have any carpet, and i would hate to think about all that stuff crushing into carpet! Our stone floors are easy to sweep and mop, but every little crunch was evidence of cat activity and it was easy to see which counters in the kitchen she had walked on (all of them, duh). This Scoop Away is DUSTY, seems to control odor and is easy to clean as needed - for someone who isn't home all day, it would still be a good choice for their kitty!

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Best clumping litter I've found Best clumping litter available that I've found. The clumps form solidly and you don't have to be super careful when scooping to keep them from breaking up like with some other clumping litters. The smell of this litter is nice and the dust is average for a clumping litter. We tried some of the new "lighter weight" litters that have recently come on the market, but have returned to ScoopAway because it clumps the best and isn't as dusty.
